Prince Edward County Cancellation Policy – West Lake Watersports (Sandbanks Area)

Our Prince Edward County cancellation policy outlines all booking, refund, and rental terms for cottage rentals, boat rentals, and water sports at West Lake Watersports near Sandbanks Provincial Park.

⚠️ Important – Please Read Before Booking

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your reservation to allow time for check-in, safety instructions, and orientation.

⏰ Late arrivals will not extend your rental time. All equipment must still be returned at the scheduled time, or additional charges may be deducted from your deposit.

💳 A security/safety deposit is required for all boat and jet ski rentals (no deposit required for kayaks)
⚠️ Deposit will be increased when renting both a boat and jet ski together

⛔ 72 Hour Strict Cancellation Policy

A 72-hour strict cancellation policy is in effect for all bookings.

✔️ Cancellations or changes must be made more than 72 hours before your scheduled booking time
❌ Within 72 hours of your booking, no cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, or changes are permitted

This applies to all circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Weather conditions (rain, wind, temperature, etc.)
• Traffic or travel delays
• Personal or family emergencies
• Medical reasons

West Lake Watersports is not responsible for weather conditions. Please review the forecast carefully before the 72-hour window.

🚫 Within 72 Hours of Your Booking

• No refunds
• No rescheduling or date changes
• No credits issued
• No exceptions

Bookings made within the 72-hour window are final sale immediately

🔁 Managing Your Booking

You can manage or cancel your booking prior to the 72-hour window by logging into your account:

🛥️ Rental Terms

• No refunds for no-shows or late arrivals
• All rentals must be returned on time
• We reserve the right to substitute equipment (boats/units) if required
• We reserve the right to cancel any booking at our discretion

💳 Refund Policy

• No refunds within 72 hours
• No cash value
• All sales are final once within the cancellation window
